Lest We Forget
"But He [Jesus] was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed."1
Today is Good Friday, the day we remember with profound appreciation that it was for this day that Jesus came to earth … to die in our place on that cruel Roman cross to save us from the terrible consequences of sin—a disease far deadlier than AIDS or any other disease that is a physical death sentence.
Today, we also remember that Jesus Christ was not an ordinary man. True, he was a man but he was and is the Son of the Living God—the Great Creator who became our Savior—the one who laid aside his external garments of deity, stepped out of the Ivory Palaces of Heaven, clothed himself in a garment of human flesh and came to earth to pay the redemption price for our sin. He died on the cross in your place and mine. In so doing he provided the only cure for the deadly disease of sin whose sentence is spiritual and eternal death.
Today, we remember, too, that without Jesus as our Savior, we would be headed for hell from which there is no escape beyond the grave. Wherever and whatever hell is we can be sure of this, it is eternal disconnection from God the author of all love and life—cut off forever from all love and all loving relationships. Such consequences are unthinkable.
And today we need to remember that Jesus died for us because he loved us far more than we can even begin to understand. As another has said, Jesus would rather go to hell for us than to go to heaven without us! This he did when he died on the cross in your place and in mine.
Jesus gave his life that we might live. In thanksgiving to him for his unspeakable gift, may we give our life to live for him—to help spread the gospel so that others might also live. For without Jesus, people are lost forever!
If you have never thanked Jesus for dying on the cross to pay the price for your sins, I urge you to do this today, and accept Jesus as your Savior and receive God's forgiveness and the assurance of a home in heaven forever. Son of Italian Railway Worker is New Pope
Another European born Cardinal has been elected as the new Pope.
The son of an Italian railway worker in Argentina Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio has been selected as the new Pope of over 1 billion Roman Catholics on 13 March 2013 to succeed his predecessor Pope Benedict XVI whose controversial resignation in February shocked the world. The new Pope has taken the name of Pope Francis I, the first time in papal history that this name had been used and he is the 266th pope.
He was born on 17 December 1936 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was ordained a priest in 1969. He became the Archbishop of Buenos Aires in 1998 and was made a Cardinal in 2001.
Jorge Mario Bergoglio is one of the five children of Italian immigrants Mario José Bergoglio, a railway worker, and his wife Regina María Sívori, a housewife. As a teenager, Bergoglio had a lung removed as a result of an infection. He studied and received a master's degree in chemistry at the University of Buenos Aires before he decided to pursue an ecclesiastical career.
According to another reference, he graduated from a technical school as a chemical technician and at the age of 21 decided to become a priest.

Two Thumbs Down To SNL Skit “Djesus Uncrossed”
"Such misrepresentation of what Jesus, peace be upon him, stands for is extremely offensive to Muslims and to all those who believe in his message. While we understand the use of shocking imagery and bizarre juxtapositions to provoke a humorous response, we believe such a distasteful portrayal of a religious figure revered by billions of Muslims and Christians worldwide crosses the comedic line."

The producers of the Saturday Night Live “Djesus Uncrossed” skit are low in imagination. Only lazy producers would have done such a satire that shows the poor imagination of the producers and misguided rationale. Any dummy could have done it and they deliberately picked on the personality of Jesus Christ, because they know that even if Christians find it offensive, there would be no violent protests or suicide bombings on the streets since our Lord and Messiah Jesus Christ preached and practiced that his believers and followers (Christians) should be peacemakers and not troublemakers.

And finally at his crucifixion, he prayed:
“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”

This SNL spoof of Quentin Tarantino’s “Django Unchained” has only done more harm than good to the director and the movie and would cost Tarantino even more than the budget of his film in damage control of the inevitable backlash that will follow. He will lose the patronage of millions of piqued Christians and Muslims in America and the rest of the world, because to insult their greatest messenger of Truth is to insult their faith.
Two thumbs down to the SNL skit. It is mediocre.

Jesus Christ Our Lord and Messiah!
Hi Fighter,
It’s Father Dave back with you again, and I confess that I’m kicking back a bit tonight.
I’m taking it easy, as I feel rather tired.
I’m not sure why I feel tired but I’ve abandoned my weekly half-marathon run tonight and am enjoying a glass of wine instead.
I feel a bit bad about the fact that my running partner, Solomon ‘Mr Jones’ Egberime, won’t have me to push him along, but the truth is that when he runs with me he has to slow himself down so much that he runs backwards for about a third of the journey and at other times literally runs rings around me!
I think he’ll manage just fine without me!
Now … I’ve had some exciting news since last we spoke.

God Is Not A Christian, Muslim Or Hindu
I do not believe in God, because I am a Christian.
I do not believe in God, because of the Holy Bible.
I do not believe in God, because of any religion.
To deny the existence of God is not different from to deny your own existence. Because if God does not exist, then you should not be here at all.
This is not a religious belief, but simple logic.
Think it and tinker it and it would soon sink into your consciousness.
The Holy Bible said "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us".(JOHN 1:1).
Simple scientific analysis of creation.
There was a beginning and that is why you and I are here and that beginning was and still is what we call God and He is in us and we are in Him. As He said "Let us make man in our image and after our likeness."
Lest we forget, God has no religion and has no Holy Bible or Koran.
He is not a Christian, Muslim or Hindu.
He is a Spirit and that Spirit is what makes things both living and non-living, both visible and invisible to exist.
If you don't believe in God does not mean He does not exist.
To believe in your own very existence is to believe in the logic of God.
Where is the evidence of God?
Look in the mirror.
Only a retard does not believe in God.

Yes, JEHOVAH God Is Alive And Well And Still Working Wonders For Us
Yesterday was a beautiful Saturday for me and today is a wonderful Sunday.
Saturday morning I set out to get a children's Bible that the one year old daughter of my neighbour insisted that she wanted when the one belonging to another neighbour's child was taken from her. I gave her other publications, but she rejected them and insisted on having the children's Bible. Janet is really a special child of a faithful Christian couple and even as little as she is, she makes sure that she stops at my office to greet me whenever she is passing by with her young parents. And Janet already knows how to bow to greet elders at one year old! So, I made sure I got her the children's Bible and her parents were really glad and grateful. The fully illustrated colourful hardcover children's Bible is exactly the same kind she wanted too. It was not cheap, but Janet deserves the gift that I know she will treasure for long.
Afterwards, I returned to my office to update my popular news and entertainment blogs and work on the book cover design for one of my new books, The Prophet Lied. Then I stumbled upon Derek Murphy of http://bookcovers.creativindie.com who has done some fantastic book covers for successful authors including Joanna Penn, author of the bestselling action-adventure thriller novels Pentecost and Prophecy in the ARKANE series. Heaven Exists Says Harvard-Educated Surgeon
Dr. Eben Alexander, a Harvard-educated neurosurgeon, fell into a coma for seven days in 2008 after contracting meningitis.
During his illness Dr Alexander says that the part of his brain which controls human thought and emotion "shut down" and that he then experienced "something so profound that it gave me a scientific reason to believe in consciousness after death." In an essay for American magazine Newsweek, which he wrote to promote his book Proof of Heaven, Dr Alexander says he was met by a beautiful blue-eyed woman in a "place of clouds, big fluffy pink-white ones" and "shimmering beings".
