Disobedience To God is the Cause of the Violence in Nigeria

Nigerians today live in fear more than ever before, because of the violence plaguing the most populous country in Africa. But the widespread violence is caused by disobedience to God.

Disobedience begets violence or rebellion which the Holy Bible says is witchcraft and violence leads to destruction and destruction leads to death as we have seen in all the reported cases of violent crimes, evils and other atrocities in Nigeria. Violence does not just start overnight. 

It starts from a rebellious heart.

Bad and evil thoughts germinate and grow into bad and evil acts form the closets to the streets and  to the corridors of power. 

And from the bedroom to the boardroom.

Boko Haram terrorists are attacking and killing innocent people and no one has asked who are the suppliers of their arms, SUVs and trucks.

The cultists caught in ritual murders of innocent people are reported in the news, but the police and press have not investigated and exposed their customers who as we speak are still living among us and many of them are in fact regular church goers and mosque goers pretending to be "Christians" and "Muslims". But they cannot fool God by their mere eye service and lip service, because Jesus Christ said:

Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

What makes us true or false Christians shall be known by what we manifest in our lives and they can be known by the Seven Deadly Sins and Seven Heavenly Virtues shown by our behaviors and lifestyles.

The 7 Deadly Sins

1. A proud look
2. A lying tongue
3. Hands that shed innocent blood
4. A heart that devises wicked plots
5. Feet that are swift to run into mischief
6. A deceitful witness that uttereth lies
7. Him that soweth discord among brethren

Pride is excessive belief in one's own abilities, that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity.

Envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation.

Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.

Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.

Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath.

Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness.

Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.

The 7 Heavenly Virtues

1.      Faith

2.       Hope

3.      Charity

4.      Fortitude

5.      Justice

6.      Temperance

7.      Prudence

Please, check yourself and if you are practicing the evils of the seven deadly sins, repent before it is too late for you and members of your family and relations.

Going To Redemption Camp for the Monthly Holy Ghost Service is Not By Force

Many people have been attacking the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) for causing the traffic congestion at KM 46, location of the sprawling Redemption Camp on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway every first Friday of every month for their popular Holy Ghost Night to fellowship and worship God with the General Overseer Pastor E.A. Adeboye and other anointed Ministers of God. But going to the Redemption Camp is not by force.

Our mandate is for the church to make heaven and not the Guinness World Records. 

God is not looking for record breaking crowds, but true believers who will fellowship and worship Him in spirit and in truth and not by lip service and eye service of hypocrisy.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Many congregants of the RCCG and others can fully participate in the Holy Ghost service from their various parishes and other locations, but some overzealous pastors often make it compulsory for members of their parishes to go to Redemption Camp when the GO never insisted on it, because God is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent and it is written:

And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the Lord
Shall be saved.
For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance,
As the Lord has said,
Among the remnant whom the Lord calls.

God has commanded us to make disciples of all nations and thank God for the internet, because we can do so from anywhere we are on the world wide web with mobile phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, etc. And we don't even need a private jet to do so as Jesus Christ never needed a chariot to preach the Good News from place to place whilst He was here on earth.

Pastors must stop suffering people gladly by forcing them to travel miles from far away locations and many of them often arrive the Redemption Camp too tired to even keep awake during the Holy Ghost night vigil and fall asleep while the service is in progress. 
Many ignorant parents and guardians come with their innocent children hungry and too weak to even walk.
Many road tragedies have been reported and God is not to blame for them, because He did command them to suffer themselves like that.

I don't know how many pastors feed the hungry members of their parishes after coercing them to travel long distances to the Redemption Camp.
Many churches have not learned lessons from the ministry of Jesus Christ and the feeding of 5, 000 people as documented in Matthew 14:13-21, Mark 6:30-44, Luke 9:10-17 and John 6:1-15. And when some churches try to emulate Him, they fail to do so with love, but just do so perfunctorily. And I have seen a church feeding the poor people on the streets of Lagos like they were dogs. 
Would they feed Jesus Christ like that?
They forgot the lessons in Matthew 25: 31-46.

31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

Those Who Know God Fear Nothing Else Except God and They Don't Live Like Fools

Millions of people in Nigeria who confess and profess their belief in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit don't manifest it and are in fact adrift living in fear and trembling of their future unlike their fellow believers in South Korea

Christianity is South Korea's largest religion, accounting for more than half of all South Korean religious adherents. There are approximately 13.7 million Christians in South Korea today, with almost two-thirds of Christians belonging to Protestant churches, while about 37% belong to the Roman Catholic Church. And when you compare the lifestyles of South Korean Christians to Nigerian Christians, you will be shocked by the corruption of the Nigerians unlike South Korean Christians.

South Korean Christians live what can be best described as Victorious Christian lives while the Nigerian Christians live inglorious lives of conceit, deceit and also very unhygienic.

They are among the most corrupt people in Africa and so shamelessly unrepentant in their rebellious lifestyles of fallacy and hypocrisy.

They will lie and still be quoting from the Holy Bible.

They will steal and still be claiming that God gave them the riches.

It is here in Nigeria that notorious kidnappers told their victim to remember to do thanksgiving after his release after torturing him and collecting a hefty ransom.

Nigerian Christians are perhaps the most incredible Christians on earth. 

From their lifestyles of covetousness, greediness and wickedness, you can see their fears of insecurity and uncertainty, because it shows that they don't trust God and in fact they fear men more than God. 

You will see them telling lies to hijack and steal the ideas of others and use them for bragging rights among their peers. But when the consequences of their evil lies and wickedness come, they begin to live in fear and trembling and have nightmares of both real and imaginary enemies and they turn their houses into cages.

They are often panic-stricken, because their hearts and hands are not clean.

Why are majority of Nigerian Christians so powerless?

Because they are fake and not true Christians.

Their froward and wayward lives are enough proof of their falsehood.



Majority of them even forget that when we say "Cleanliness is next to Godliness", we mean that we should be as clean as we clean the pulpit and the pews everyday, because they are so dirty and filthy and I wonder why their pastors and ministers don't preach to them the importance of daily hygiene! And when they fall ill due to their unhygienic habits, they blame the devil and demons and look for miracles for their self-inflicted and self-conflicted infections and afflictions.

They blame the devil and demons for their failures which they caused themselves.



It can be really annoying to see Nigerian Christians misbehaving and living horrible and terrible mischievous lives.

How can a Nollywood star who claims to be a happily married Christian be operating a small hotel that is more of a brothel where knowingly he welcomes his equally married friends to bring their girlfriends and mistresses to his hotel to have sex with them?

In fact he was angry when I saw one of them with a shameless "runs babe" and asked him: "I hope your wife and children are fine?"

He said why did I blow his cover?

So, he must have lied to the "runs babe" that he was still a bachelor. And his Nollywood star buddy was encouraging him to cheat on his wife and also collected money for providing the room for his adulteries.

Money and time that would have been better spent on his wife and children. And every Sunday, they go to church as usual to pay lip service and eye service to God.

But who is fooling whom?

Can man fool God?

How can a woman who claims to be a happily married Christian mother pimp her daughters to married rich men and then allow them to have abortions or have  innocent children out of wedlock? 



These evil and wicked acts have brought curses on the lives of millions of Nigerian Christians.And rendered them powerless spiritually and that s why Nigeria is still wallowing in the mess of corruption, hypocrisy and wickedness.

Our disobedience to God is the cause of the violence destroying lives in Nigeria today. And to worsen our woes, majority of us are so unrepentant and without repentance, violence will continue to destroy more lives and properties in the country.  And majority of homes in Nigeria have gone to the dogs in our desperate dog eat dog lifestyles of conceit, deceit and greed; competing for the vanities of our buffoonery, chicanery, debauchery and treachery

Eyes Have Not Seen and Ears Have Not Heard

Eyes have not seen and ears have not heard the great and mighty things and wonders God our maker and owner shall perform for His children in Nigeria.

Before You Recite and Pray Psalm 109

I know that most people are scared of Psalm 109, a warfare prayer against your enemy.
But the prayer is not for unrepentant sinners and unbelievers.

Yes. It is a prayer of vengeance that one is asking God to fight for you.
But before God can fight for you, you must make sure that your hands are clean, because the prayer of an unrepentant sinner is an abomination to God.

You may whine to God that someone has done something bad, wrong and wicked to you, but HAVE YOU NOT DONE SOMETHING BAD, WRONG AND WICKED TO SOMEONE ELSE?

If you cheat others, then don't come and whine to my Almighty Father that someone is cheating you.
There is this cheating girlfriend who cheated on her boyfriend and he found out. Instead of repenting, she was even bragging about it shamelessly. Then later, her new boyfriend cheated on her and she was crying and cursing him.
See who is whining? grin

There was a man who has a bad and wicked habit of cheating his workers and not even paying for services, because of his greed.
Then one day, his payment was delayed for a big contract for only 30 days, and he nearly went insane and actually went Unclad in prayer asking God to deal with the person he accused of delaying his payment.
He cursed and swore at the person. And I laughed at the silly and wicked contractor.
He sees the sins of others, but lives in evil denial of his own sins.
He is still owing some people since 2010 to date.

Another case is the common one of Nigerians accusing and cursing the government of being corrupt, but among them are the same evil and wicked Nigerian employers who cheat and exploit their workers and maltreat their housemaids and houseboys for years.
Among them are the exam cheats, greedy business men and women, greedy and wicked landlords and landladies who increase rents without justification, cheating husbands and cheating wives, household crooks and neighborhood rogues and other criminals and sinners.
When you hear and see these hypocrites cursing and swearing at the government and others, you will think they are innocent people. But many of them have done worse things.

Imagine an artiste who denied a fellow artiste of performing and did not even show any remorse now praying to God to favour his own musical career?
What do these hypocrites, liars and unrepentant wicked people mistake God for?

Please, read Matthew chapter 7 and chapter 25 of the Holy Bible for what God commanded us to do in human relations. And lest we forget, our Lord and Messiah Jesus Christ warned: REPENT OR PERISH.
Until you repent and do restitution, your prayer is just deceit and an abomination to God.
Beware of Psalm 109.
God will not spare those who reward good with evil.

Just Give It To Jesus. Yeah, Right!

A word from God's Word, the Bible: "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ…. For every man shall bear his own burden."1

Sometimes the Bible seems to contradict itself. Today's scripture is a prime example where it says, "Bear one another's burdens … for every man must bear his own burden."

Actually, the explanation is simple. In the original language, the first burden represents a burden such as a heavy rock or a weight that one person cannot carry alone because it is far too heavy.

The second burden represents one that each one must carry for himself because it is like a knapsack, one that each individual is quite able to carry.

When we carry another person's knapsack for him, we are being codependent and contributing to the over-dependent's not wanting to take responsibility for himself. This makes us a part of his sickness.

Then there are those people who want God to carry their knapsack. No such luck. God isn't codependent. God will help us where we can't help ourselves. That's why He sent His Son, Jesus, who willingly gave His life to save us from the consequences of our sin. But God will not do for us what we can and need to do for ourselves.

And then some people expect those who are carrying a heavy rock burden to just give it to Jesus! This can be a cop-out because we don't want to help bear another's burdens. It's so much easier for us if they will just take it to the cross and give it to Jesus!

A dear friend just lost a loved one. The grief was tearing her heart to shreds. Could you imagine how insensitive I would have been had I said, "Just take it to Jesus." Yes, she needs to take it to Jesus but she also needs to take it to safe, understanding friends who will perhaps say nothing, but just sit and cry with her, hug her and hold her hand—and be "as Jesus" to her.

We are to weep with those who weep, comfort the sorrowing, hold the hand of a fallen friend and help him/her to his/her feet again. We are to bear one another's burdens when they have been given a "large rock" to carry. And we are to get out of the way of rescuing those who don't want to carry their own "knapsack" burden.

This is one vital way how we fulfill the law of Christ. We serve God by serving people.

Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke Begins First Gospel Crusades in America

Christ for all Nations Announces First-Ever U.S. “Good News” Crusades
After 72 million decisions over 35 years of ministry in Africa, God calls Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke to share the Gospel in America

ORLANDO, Fla., April 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Internationally known evangelist and founder of Christ for all Nations (CfaN), Reinhard Bonnke, announces today that for the first time in his 35-year ministry history, he will host crusades throughout the United States, called Good News: a Gospel Crusade with International Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke.

“I have come to love my country, but my heart is burning as I witness the staggering decline of morals and faith in this nation,” said Bonnke, who recently became a U.S. citizen. “America needs the Gospel like never before. Despite years of sharing God’s saving message abroad, I believe God is now calling me to turn my ministry inward to help America find renewal and revival.”

Through Good News crusades, Bonnke will travel from city-to-city to inspire Americans to draw nearer to a relationship with Jesus. CfaN will partner with local churches and pastors to host the first event at the Amway Center in Orlando, Fla., Sept. 27-28.

Bonnke is best known for his Great Gospel Crusades across the continent of Africa. Earlier in his life, God placed upon Bonnke’s heart to minister throughout Africa and he dedicated his life to holding open-air Gospel campaigns throughout the Continent with as many as 1.6 million people in attendance at a single meeting. Through Bonnke’s 35 years of ministry, CfaN has recorded 72 million documented decisions for Jesus Christ.

“My work in Africa came paid for mostly by American Christians, and I am so glad and thankful for their giving hearts,” Evangelist Bonnke said. “But God spoke to me and said, ‘I did not send you to America for the country to just be the offering plate for Africa. I sent you to America for the sake of Americans.’”

Lest We Forget

"But He [Jesus] was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed."1

Today is Good Friday, the day we remember with profound appreciation that it was for this day that Jesus came to earth … to die in our place on that cruel Roman cross to save us from the terrible consequences of sin—a disease far deadlier than AIDS or any other disease that is a physical death sentence.

Today, we also remember that Jesus Christ was not an ordinary man. True, he was a man but he was and is the Son of the Living God—the Great Creator who became our Savior—the one who laid aside his external garments of deity, stepped out of the Ivory Palaces of Heaven, clothed himself in a garment of human flesh and came to earth to pay the redemption price for our sin. He died on the cross in your place and mine. In so doing he provided the only cure for the deadly disease of sin whose sentence is spiritual and eternal death.

Today, we remember, too, that without Jesus as our Savior, we would be headed for hell from which there is no escape beyond the grave. Wherever and whatever hell is we can be sure of this, it is eternal disconnection from God the author of all love and life—cut off forever from all love and all loving relationships. Such consequences are unthinkable.

And today we need to remember that Jesus died for us because he loved us far more than we can even begin to understand. As another has said, Jesus would rather go to hell for us than to go to heaven without us! This he did when he died on the cross in your place and in mine.

Jesus gave his life that we might live. In thanksgiving to him for his unspeakable gift, may we give our life to live for him—to help spread the gospel so that others might also live. For without Jesus, people are lost forever!

If you have never thanked Jesus for dying on the cross to pay the price for your sins, I urge you to do this today, and accept Jesus as your Savior and receive God's forgiveness and the assurance of a home in heaven forever. Son of Italian Railway Worker is New Pope

Another European born Cardinal has been elected as the new Pope.

The son of an Italian railway worker in Argentina Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio has been selected as the new Pope of over 1 billion Roman Catholics on 13 March 2013 to succeed his predecessor Pope Benedict XVI whose controversial resignation in February shocked the world. The new Pope has taken the name of Pope Francis I, the first time in papal history that this name had been used and he is the 266th pope.

He was born on 17 December 1936 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was ordained a priest in 1969. He became the Archbishop of Buenos Aires in 1998 and was made a Cardinal in 2001.

Jorge Mario Bergoglio is one of the five children of Italian immigrants Mario José Bergoglio, a railway worker, and his wife Regina María Sívori, a housewife. As a teenager, Bergoglio had a lung removed as a result of an infection. He studied and received a master's degree in chemistry at the University of Buenos Aires before he decided to pursue an ecclesiastical career.

Two Thumbs Down To SNL Skit “Djesus Uncrossed”

"Such misrepresentation of what Jesus, peace be upon him, stands for is extremely offensive to Muslims and to all those who believe in his message. While we understand the use of shocking imagery and bizarre juxtapositions to provoke a humorous response, we believe such a distasteful portrayal of a religious figure revered by billions of Muslims and Christians worldwide crosses the comedic line.

The producers of the Saturday Night Live “Djesus Uncrossed” skit are low in imagination. Only lazy producers would have done such a satire that shows the poor imagination of the producers and misguided rationale. Any dummy could have done it and they deliberately picked on the personality of Jesus Christ, because they know that even if Christians find it offensive, there would be no violent protests or suicide bombings on the streets since our Lord and Messiah Jesus Christ preached and practiced that his believers and followers (Christians) should be peacemakers and not troublemakers.
"But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."
(Matthew 5.44, Holy Bible).
And finally at his crucifixion, he prayed:
“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”
(Luke 23:34, Holy Bible).

This SNL spoof of Quentin Tarantino’s “Django Unchained” has only done more harm than good to the director and the movie and would cost Tarantino even more than the budget of his film in damage control of the inevitable backlash that will follow. He will lose the patronage of millions of piqued Christians and Muslims in America and the rest of the world, because to insult their greatest messenger of Truth is to insult their faith.

Two thumbs down to the SNL skit. It is mediocre.
