PRESIDENT BUHARI’S 2023 EASTER MESSAGE TO NIGERIANS

I join Christians in Nigeria and around the world to celebrate Easter, which commemorates the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, signposting his victory over death.

At the heart of Easter, is the triumph of light over darkness.

It is a season that reminds us that the Almighty can turn an unpleasant situation round for good.

Recognising that Easter is about renewed hope and a glorious future, I urge all Nigerians to continue to be confident and believe strongly in our country for better seasons ahead.

As a nation, we have gone through an election that has produced the next set of leaders at the federal and State levels.

I commend Nigerians for believing in the process. While I congratulate those that have been elected, I acknowledge that it is the right of those who feel dissatisfied with the outcome to seek redress. I expect them to wait patiently and allow our legal system run its course.

It has been a rare privilege for me to serve as your President since you gave me the first mandate in 2015 and renewed it in 2019.

Day after day, I have been guided by the vows I took to keep Nigeria united, prosperous and secure.

Our successes on security, economy, infrastructure, new oil frontier basins, landmark legal reforms as well as food sufficiency, among others, were possible because of the support of Nigerians.

As we celebrate this season with our families, neighbors and communities, let us do so in love, compassion, kindness, resilience and forgiveness.

Then JESUS Christ Visited Him

TRUE LIFE TESTIMONY

A man who does carpentry work. This man, every morning, passes in front of a Church on his way to work. One day he took a decision that he must go into the Church at the chapel to greet JESUS before going to his work.

So each day he passes the Church he will go to the chapel and say "JESUS l ‘m here to greet you" he did this for many years and it became part of him. One day he went to work as usual and fell down from the roof where he was working and had a spinal cord injury, he was taken to many hospitals and there was no remedy to his health and he became paralyzed.

One day at the hospital where he was on his sick bed without hope, his wife left him alone in the room to bring something from the house. A man who dressed in white walked into the room and greeted him saying, "my friend l have come to greet you. JESUS came to visit him since he couldn't come to visit Him as usual. And the sick man said Thank You, the visitor left and this man started to notice changes on his body, and to his greatest surprise, he got up and sat down on the bed still thinking if it was a dream when his wife came and saw him sitting down she thought it was a Ghost and raised alarm ran out from the room. The Doctor and Nurses rushed to the room thinking the sick man is dead, when the Doctor first entered and saw the man sitting comfortably, he also ran back, before he decided to ask him what happened and the healed man told him all that happened. He was visiting JESUS daily for many years but one singular visit by JESUS changed his hopelessness to joy!

My brother, sister and Friend who is reading this message, this is a true life TESTIMONY. This happened somewhere. JESUS lives, do not allow any body to deceive you please. The Healing of A Man Suffering From Stroke 

Since 2019 I have been seeing the tall man looking ill and unkempt on Alara Street, in Onike walking to Sabo in Yaba on the mainland of Lagos city. He was always dressed in a shirt, black or cream coloured trousers and slippers. They said he had stroke and now walking with a shaking right hand and bent back. He was often talking to himself or thinking aloud.

I left Onike and relocated to Ikotun on the outskirts of Lagos. I returned to Yaba later after four months before Christmas. I saw the man again in the same condition. 

Then in September, 2020 when I moved into a guest house on Aggrey Street in Yaba GRA, I saw him almost every day in the estate and most likely was staying in the estate.

One day I saw him hailing a man riding on a bicycle in the Igbo language. The man brought out money and dropped it for him and rode on without even stopping. He picked up the note of naira and thanked the man. Then later I saw him begging passersby for money to feed.

One day, as I passed by to buy  items from a nearby supermarket ,I saw him beside a car parked under a tree opposite a new pharmacy called SHEBA. He asked me for money and I said I would give him after buying what I needed from the supermarket.

When I came back, I gave him some money and said: "What you really need is not money, but to be healed by God. "

"Yes. My brother is also praying for me," he replied.

Then I prayed to Almighty God to heal him.

Days later, I saw him still in the same condition and begging for money.

"You have been healed," I said, because I received the Word from within me that he was healed. 

I did not give him any money again and kept on repeatedly saying, "He has been healed." 

I received another Word of Knowledge saying, "But his brothers don't want to help him "

He has been healed, but his brothers don't want to help him. What he needed after his healing was his rehabilitation. 

Later, I saw him bending over a car by the sidewalk and he was writing on a piece of white paper with his right hand and it was steady and not shaking. HALLELUJAH! He has been healed indeed!

Later I saw him thinking aloud on the problems in Nigeria in good English!
