The Word of God is the Greatest Power in the World

 Psalm 68:11

The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

 Psalm 68:11

Many people perish every day in the world
Because of their ignorance of the Word of God.

The Rhema Blog
(since 2005)

I obeyed the Word of God in 1988 when I had all the money to tour the world after working as a public health illustrator for the Johns Hopkins University's Population Communication Services (JHU/PCS) to produce fully illustrated family planning methods booklets in Pidgin English, Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa distributed by the Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria (PPFN)) for the entire Nigeria. I was 21 and I have signed a recording contract for the production of my songs in Hollywood with all the looks and guts to be a rock star with my starry eyes, brown skin and bushy hair and walking tall. I have already written and directed my first play, "The Prodigal" for the Education Unit of National Museum on Lagos Island and profiled in the Times International news magazine interviewed by Henry Atenaga, a friend of Ben Okri when I was only 17. At 21 featured in the highly esteemed West Africa newsmagazine for my popular Captain Santana and his flying motorcycle comics. I became a national Program Consultant for the UNICEF in Nigeria at 25. Then in 1988 I became born again from the Roman Catholic Church to the Deeper Christian Life Ministry of Pastor William Folorunsho Kumuyi who had sown the seed of evangelism into my life in 1978 when I spent my long school holidays attending his school holidays classes.
From 1988 I preached the good news of the gospel of our MESSIAH JESUS Christ on the streets and on public transport buses in Lagos in English, Igbo and Yoruba for over 11 years. From the street I moved on to the internet I started my online ministry, The Rhema Blog in 2005.
The Rhema Blog is very popular among visitors from over 12 countries in the world.
I share the Word of God with testimonies of the Truth.

The greatest power is the Word of God.
And the greatest power comes from the prayer in the Word of God.
I see the world through the Eyes of God.

The Power of the Gift of Discernment

Fake Christians Can Only Be Fooled By Fake Pastors, Fake Bishops and False Prophets

Without the Gift of Discernment, majority of the so called men and women of God, the Papas and Mamas and Daddies and Mommies have failed to see through fake ministers and fake Christians.
They have mistaken mere churchgoers for Christians.

I don't know how Papa and Mama will give a standing ovation to a visitor who has come to the dome for political campaign and later returns to his whited sepulchre to kneel and bow down to graven images and statues in a shrine.

Did our Lord not warn us that even the Antichrist comes in the form of an Angel of Light?

Our Lord, Redeemer, Saviour and MESSIAH JESUS Christ clearly showed how to separate the sheep from the goats.
By their fruits you shall know them.
Actions speak louder than words.
Not name dropping God, quoting verses and HALLELUJAH in lip service and eye service.

The lifestyles of conceit and deceit will only expose your buffoonery.

Let me repeat again: WITHOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT YOU CANNOT HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

It is not by mere going to church.
Being emotional is not being spiritual.

The Holy Spirit is Real.
The Holy Spirit is God.

You may fool the whole world
But you cannot fool Almighty God.

Hosea 4:6 NKJV

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

Only the Pure in Heart will See God

Good morning.

Arise and shine.

Psalm 103 verse 5 has been written and as I have spoken the verse it is fulfilled in my life.

For He renews my youth like the Eagle's.

Only the pure in 💓 heart see God.

The impure in heart will never see God.

- Ekenyerengozi Michael Chima.

If you like go to church one million times;

Sing along in chorus with the choir in your eye service and lip service!

Buy gifts for your pastor and bishop and church of whited sepulchre of your conceit and deceit;

You are a mere church goer and not a true Christian.

What makes a true Christian?

You must believe in God and worship Him in Spirit and in Truth; and you must adhere to what is written in 1 Corinthians 13.

Finis.

I am Who I am by the grace of Almighty God.

God Cannot Be Deceived

 God cannot be deceived.

Do not be deceived and misled by your fake pastors, bishops and GOs.
Until you see people through the eyes of God and not through the eyes of the world, you will never know or see God.
You are a fake Christian, fake Muslim or fake believer if you don't see people through the eyes of God.

Matthew

The Beatitudes of JESUS Christ

1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:

2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Bamboozled By Jesus: How God Tricked Me into the Life of My Dreams

Description

Thriving stand-up comic and actress Yvonne Orji—best known as Issa Rae's BFF on the HBO series, Insecure—shares the secrets to living the life of your dreams.

Yvonne Orji has never shied away from being unapologetically herself, and that includes being outspoken about her faith. Known for interpreting Biblical stories and metaphors to fit current times, her humorous and accessible approach to faith leaves even non-believers inspired and wanting more.

The way Yvonne sees it, God is a Sovereign Prankster, punking folks long before Ashton Kutcher made it cool. When she meditates on her own life—complete with unforeseen blessings and unanticipated roadblocks—she realizes it’s one big testimony to how God tricked her into living out her wildest dreams. And she wants us to join in on getting bamboozled. This is not a Self-Help book—it’s a Get Yours book!

In Bamboozled by Jesus, a frank and fresh advice book, Orji takes readers on a journey through twenty-five life lessons, gleaned from her own experiences and her favorite source of inspiration: the Bible. But this ain’t your mama’s Bible study. Yvonne infuses wit and heart in sharing pointers like why the way up is sometimes down, and how fear is synonymous to food poisoning. Her joyful, confident approach to God will inspire everyone to catapult themselves out of the mundane and into the magnificent.

With bold authenticity and practical relatability, Orji is exactly the kind of cultural leader we need in these chaotic times. And her journey through being Bamboozled by Jesus paints a powerful picture of what it means to say “yes” to a life you never could’ve imagined—if it wasn’t your own.

Reviews

“Inspiration practically leaps off the pages and into the hearts of readers—the writing is engaging and the comedic timing is absolute gold. Orji is a cheerleader and best friend for every dreamer.”― LaParis Hawkins, Booklist

“Not only is Yvonne really funny and smart, she brings a fresh new perspective to every story she tells. She is an absolute master, and an original voice that needs to be heard now more than ever. Once you let her in your mind, you’ll never want her to leave.”

― Chris Rock, actor & comedian

"Yvonne somehow found a way to brilliantly weave her humor, insight, courage, and faith into pages that feel like a weekend retreat hanging with your best, boldest, brightest and most blessed girlfriend. Bamboozled by Jesus is real talk about deep faith put in practice from a woman committed to living a life of vision, purpose, service and success."

― Kerry Washington, actress, producer, & director

“Whether it’s as an actress, comedian or thought-leader, Yvonne has always given a fresh perspective and authentic storytelling. Bamboozled is a culmination of the characteristics that make her so special: sharp wit, fierce intelligence and an unapologetic sense of self.”

― Rachel Hollis, author & speaker

"A delightful debut... Orji's boundless enthusiasm will appeal to her fans and newcomers alike."― Publishers Weekly

God Is Not A Christian, Muslim Or Hindu

I do not believe in God, because I am a Christian.
I do not believe in God, because of the Holy Bible.
I do not believe in God, because of any religion.

To deny the existence of God is not different from to deny your own existence. Because if God does not exist, then you should not be here at all.
This is not a religious belief, but simple logic.
Think it and tinker it and it would soon sink into your consciousness.
The Holy Bible said "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us".(JOHN 1:1).
Simple scientific analysis of creation.
There was a beginning and that is why you and I are here and that beginning was and still is what we call God and He is in us and we are in Him. As He said "Let us make man in our image and after our likeness."
Lest we forget, God has no religion and has no Holy Bible or Koran.
He is not a Christian, Muslim or Hindu.
He is a Spirit and that Spirit is what makes things both living and non-living, both visible and invisible to exist.

If you don't believe in God does not mean He does not exist.
To believe in your own very existence is to believe in the logic of God.
Where is the evidence of God?
Look in the mirror.
Only a retard does not believe in God.

You Cannot Be A Christian If You Have Not Met Jesus Christ

The problem of the world of those who live and lie in falsehood in Christendom is the fact that majority of those who claim to be Christians have never met Jesus Christ and you can never be a Christian until you have met Jesus Christ.

What we have in Nigeria and the rest of the world are millions of church goers calling themselves Christians when in reality they are not in truth and in spirit.

You cannot be a Christian and behave like a pagan as most of you do.

You only deceive yourself by making all sorts of excuses for your erroneous and ambiguous practices which expose the truth about you.

We are what we do.
As Jesus Christ said, by their fruits you shall know them.
And not by words of mouth.
Not by how many times you go to church.
Not by how many times you give alms to the beggars and paupers.
Not by the size of your Holy Bible.
Not by how many times you pray, praise or worship HIM.
Not by your hypocritical attempts to be pious.
Not by when you dress to impress others.

The hood does not make the monk.

By your fruits you shall prove who and what you are.

You wonder why Nigeria is in hysteria?
Because of your evils.
What we sow we shall reap.
The fruits of the seeds Nigerians have sown in secret and in public are the harvest of corruption, pollution, poverty, criminality and political instability plaguing Nigeria today.

Majority of the millions posing and posturing as "Christians" are nothing more than Hypocrites at large.

They themselves know they are living in their own conceit and deceit, fooling themselves as they are all engaged in the contests of wits to outsmart themselves in their rat race.

True Christians don't join the rat race when they know their Kingdom Race of true Christianity.

I would rather dine and wine with pagans than fellowship with hypocrites who are pretending to be Christians, but do things that show that they do not even fear God as the pagan fear their idols.

Parents have failed to be good role models for their children as they lie and cheat at home and at work and so their children learn to lie and cheat from their parents and sooner or later join their bandwagon of the morally and intellectually bankrupt and corrupt society.

A society filled by the canker-worms of corruption, made rotten by ill-gotten wealth that only ends in their death and leaving their survivors and victims to continue to face the grave consequences of the wrath of the earth.

The solution is to confess the truth and stop lying and fooling yourselves.
Admit it that you have not met Jesus Christ and say it that you are not Christians.
As Jesus Christ said that if you are neither hot nor cold, he would spit you out!

"So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth."

~ Revelation 3:16 (King James Version)

How can you meet Jesus Christ?

"Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

~ John 14:6 (New International Version)

Break down and confess all your sins and evils.

Have you done any evil to anyone?
Have you done evil to any family?
Have you done evil to any people?
Have you done evil to any company?
Have you done evil to any organization?
Have you done evil to any nation?

Then you have done evil to God.

If you want to meet with Jesus Christ.
You must stop doing evil in any form or way whatsoever.
Then repent of the evil or evils you have already done, by confessing to God and to the person, family or people, the company, organization or nation and ask for their forgiveness.
Then I promise you that the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ will visit you.

But until you do so, I am sorry, you are just fooling yourselves and wasting your time in your religious buffoonery.

The Muslim Woman Who Saw Jesus!

The Muslim Woman Who Saw Jesus!

Millions of people are still perishing in ignorance of the Truth of Jesus Christ, because of their unbelief and being misled by false doctrine and false religion. That is why I have to remind them of the awesome testimony of Gulshan Esther, a Muslim girl, imprisoned by her religion and severe disability, but was healed and set free by Jesus Christ HIMSELF!

You should also read the book of her unforgettable testimony The Torn Veil: The Best-Selling Story of Gulshan Esther

A true story of freedom and miraculous healing as a Muslim girl finds faith in Christ

When Gulshan Esther, a devout Muslim girl, was six months old, typhoid left her a cripple. Her loving father took her from Pakistan to England to find a cure, but the only hope the British specialist could offer was prayer. Gulshan and her father made pilgrimage to Mecca and begged Allah for healing, but it was not until her father’s untimely death that Gulshan began to receive an answer. In her grief she wanted to die, but as she called out to God, for the first time in her life she sensed she was being heard. She heard a low, gentle voice say, "I won’t let you die. I will keep you aliveÖI am Jesus, son of Mary."

As Gulshan began reading the Quran, her interest in Jesus grew, until one amazing night he appeared to her in her bedroom in a blaze of light. He restored her crippled arm and leg and taught her The Lord’s Prayer. He told her to go to his people—now her people—and tell them what he had done. Since that time, and to this day, she has been a joyous, obedient disciple of Christ. The Torn Veil is an amazing story of faith and determination.

This moving autobiography was first published in 1984 and has sold over 200,000 copies worldwide.

Choices

1. Choices

"'King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know you do.' Then Agrippa said to Paul, 'Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?' Paul replied, 'Short time or long—I pray God that not only you but all who are listening to me today may become what I am, except for these chains.'"1

Phil Parrino, a Daily Encounter reader, tells the story how in "World War I there was a young American ambulance driver who personally witnessed all kinds of death and suffering. After the war he wrote dark brooding novels and finally committed suicide. His name was Earnest Hemmingway.

"But there was another American Ambulance driver even younger than the first. The dead and dying he witnessed were mostly from the great influenza epidemic that swept Europe at the end of World War I. After the war he drew cartoons and made people laugh. When he died he was loved by millions. His name was Walt Disney.

"As you have said, it's not only what happens to us, but how we react to it. Our personality predisposes us to a certain extent, but in the end we make the choice."

Life is a series of choices. I am today where I am because of choices I made years ago. I will be where I am tomorrow based on choices I make today. And I will spend eternity based on the choice I make about accepting or rejecting God's great gift of salvation.

As Paul challenged King Agrippa to become a Christian, he challenges you and me today to make that choice and not to be an almost-persuaded. For help be sure to read, "How to Be Sure You're a Real Christian" at: www.actsweb.org/articles.

Suggested prayer: "Dear God, help me to see that my life has been shaped in so many ways because of choices I made in the past. Help me to make choices today for where I want to be tomorrow. And above all, help me to make the right choice about eternity by making sure I have accepted Jesus as my Savior and am a true follower of him. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, in Jesus' name, amen."

1. Acts 26:27-29 (NIV).

The Only Time We Ever Have

Tuesday, April 29, 2008

1. The Only Time We Ever Have

"Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."1

In his sermon, "Obedience," Warren Lamb said, "I used to have problems getting my son to clean his room. I would insist that he, 'Do it now,' and he would always agree to do so, but then he wouldn't follow through—at least, not right way.

"After high school, he joined the Marine Corps, which is where he is now. When he and I were on the plane together coming home for his leave after Boot Camp, he said to me, 'My life makes sense now, Dad. Everything you said and did when I was growing up now makes sense. I really, really understand.'

"'Oh yeah, Dad,' he added. 'I learned what 'now' means.'"2

For all of us, the only time we ever have is now.

If God is urging you to make amends with a friend or loved one, do it now. If there is a job or responsibility you have been putting of, do it now. If God is calling you to accept his gift of salvation, remember NOW is the day of salvation. Be sure to do this today. For help go to: http://tinyurl.com/8glq9 to read, "How to Be Sure You're a real Christian Without Having to Be Religious"

Suggested prayer: "Dear God, thank you for your Word that reminds me that the day of salvation is now—today. Please help me to do today what is the most important thing in my life, and especially to make sure my life is right with you. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully in Jesus name, amen."
