The Scent of the Holy Spirit 2
Last week, in my sermon on "The Scent of the Holy Spirit", I started from the establishment of the statement that without the communion of the Holy Spirit, you cannot have any relationship with Almighty God.
I know that for the majority of those who claim to be believers and the unbelievers, talking about the scent of the Holy Spirit may be strange or unheard of, because they don't know of the existence and so don't have the experience.
Yes, the Holy Spirit has a scent and it is not fiction.
Please, let me state it that it is not the burning of different colours of candles and incences in worship. You can burn all the colours of candles and incences in the world, but you don't have any relationship with the Holy Spirit.
Almighty God has nose and nostrils and they are not for fancy, they are for sniffing and smelling odours and savours in heaven, heavens and on the earth. The scent of the Holy Spirit is the scent of the living Almighty God and the only scent in heaven; the scent of the holiness of God Almighty God loves good, pleasant and sweet smelling odours and incences as written in Exodus 29:25:
"And thou shalt receive them of their hands, and burn them upon the altar for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour before the Lord: it is an offering made by fire unto the Lord."
But only in sacred hearts of holy worship of true believers and not in sinful hearts of unholiness of fake believers in whited sepulchres which millions of people have been mistaking for churches of God. Many churches in Nigeria and the rest of the world are whited sepulchres with occultic shrines behind the pulpits and in the closets in the bedrooms of the fake pastors, fake bishops, false prophets and other fake ministers with fake followers.
But as I quoted in the first part of The Scent of the Holy Spirit, it is written in Matthew 7:16-20:
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them."
Fake ministers can only deceive fake believers and fake followers. Because, true believers of God have the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the gift of discernment and the Word of Knowledge to know the truth and discern the falsehood in any cleric and church. You cannot fool a true believer in God.
It is written in 1 John 4:1-5:
4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them."
Now, how, where and when does the scent of the Holy Spirit manifest on earth? It manifests when there is pure and true love of God. As it is written in
John 14:23 :
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him."
This is final. If you truly love God, you will honour and obey His commandments and He will love you too. My one and only Father and Almighty Father does not have space and time for antagonisms, bitterness, hatred, evil envy, evil jealousy, greed and shenanigans among humans and fake believers and fake ministers. Where there is no true love, there is no God. And He does not accept the prayers, offerings and the tithes of those with antagonisms, bitterness, hatred, evil jealousy, evil envy, greed and shenanigans. He is my Father and I know Him and He knows me.
My prayers are for those who don't know Him should humble themselves to obey His commandments and then you will know Him. Without obedience to His commandments, you cannot know God. So, when He sees your obedience more than your sacrifice, He will manifest His holy presence in His infinite glory in your life. And when you pray, sing and worship Him in obedience and repentance of pure and true love , He will embrace you in the awesome beauty of His holiness with the scent of His Holy Spirit as it is written in Revelation 8:4:
"And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand."
