I Met Mark Zuckerberg On Wednesday and Received A Cheque from America Yesterday
HALLELUJAH!
Wow!
It was not in my New Year resolutions for 2016 and not even in my wildest dreams, but Almighty God JEHOVAH made it happen.
On Wednesday afternoon on August 31, 2016, I met Mark Zuckerberg, the famous Co-founder and CEO of Facebook during his first ever trip to sub-Saharan Africa and he chose Lagos, our Lagos megacity as his first touch with Nigeria.
He came to Afrinolly Space in Oregun, in Ikeja on the mainland of Lagos, Africa’s largest megacity and the commercial hub of the continent.
Mark and his Facebook team wanted to see the digital hub of Nollywood, Nigeria’s phenomenal film industry.
I was sitting in the office of Mr. Chike Maduegbuna, the CEO of Afrinolly with Mr. Abayomi Adeloye, the Zonal Manager of Ikeja 1 branch of Wema Bank Plc and Arthur, a young European man from Air France who said he accompanied the celebrated Nigerian filmmaker Kunle Afolayan to the event. As we were talking, Mark Zuckerberg, the famous Co-founder and CEO of Facebook walked in and greeted us with smiles. We stood up to welcome him and we shook hands.
He was dressed simply in a T-Shirt, trousers and shoes. You can pass Mark for an ebullient White teenager on the street without giving him a second look. Without even any hint that he is the multi-billionaire CEO of Facebook and the 5th richest person in the world with US$53.7 billion as of August 2016. And according to Wikipedia Facebook became the fastest company in the Standard & Poor's 500 Index to reach a market cap of $250 billion. Facebook has more than 1.65 billion monthly active users as of March 31, 2016.
Afrinolly received Facebook's Augmented Reality (AR) 360-degree camera with Head Mounted Display (HMD) goggles which Nollywood diva, Rita Dominic and others saw how to use it in their future film productions, because the future of Nollywood will be powered by the digital ecosystem.
AR can let us see beyond the one-ten trillionth of the electromagnetic spectrum our eyes can register.
See one of the videos on Instagram here and I will show more on my Screen Naija YouTube channel.
Then yesterday, on the first of September, I received my first cheque from LULU Inc of the United States of America for books!
I just went on my knees this morning and lifted up the cheque to give thanksgiving to Almighty God JEHOVAH, because it is written in Psalm 118 of the Holy Bible.
1. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.In spite of the global recession affecting Jesus, Almighty God JEHOVAH still gave me the vision and provision to make my first documentary feature "Lagos in Motion: Sights and Sounds of Africa's Largest Megacity" and Amazon Books published the book version in paperback and Amazon Kindle tablet worldwide. And I have received offers for the worldwide distribution of the film for VOD, AVOD and SVOD.
15. The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly.
23. This is the Lord's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
24. This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Join me to rejoice and praise the one and only true Almighty God JEHOVAH who alone gives a bumper harvest in the midst of drought and brings a food basket in the desert and makes a way where there was no way.
HALLELUJAH.
May His awesome infinite power of the abundance of His infinite Grace continue to flow in the life of every believer in the land of the living in the Almighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Saviour and Messiah. Amen.
