There is no true love among "Christians" in Nigeria, because of their fallacy and hypocrisy.
Our Lord and Messiah JESUS Christ said in
Matthew 24:12:
"Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold."
Majority of those who confess and profess to be "Christians" in Nigeria are not obeying the commandments or following the footsteps of our Lord, Saviour and Messiah JESUS Christ.
They are just regular church goers and miracle seekers.
They come to church to fellowship and for the worship service, but afterwards, majority of them return to their houses without knowing where their fellow members live, except for the regular meetings in fixed locations of house fellowship. But in many cases, the rich members of the church don't visit the poor members of the church. They pretend and smile at themselves in church, but afterwards, it is back to business as usual.
Many poor Christians are suffering and smiling in depression and sadness; feeling no sense of belonging in church after the worship service.
Majority of Nigerian "Christians" totally disregard what our Lord JESUS Christ said in Matthew 22: 35-40:
35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,They don't obey what is written in 1 Corinthians 13, on true Christian love.
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
They continue paying eye service and lip service to Almighty God JEHOVAH in their foolish conceit and deceit. But they are only deceiving and fooling themselves, because they cannot fool God our maker, who knows us more than we know ourselves.
That is why it is written in 2 Timothy 3:
3 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
We must repent, otherwise many of us will continue to perish in the hands of the devil and the agents of evil and wickedness in Nigeria.
