Why We Must Shine!

How much you appreciate your gifts and talents and how much you also appreciate the gifts and talents of others for the common good shows how much you appreciate God.
Our Lord JESUS Christ demonstrated this by how much He appreciated and loved us; calling us the light of the world, the salt of the earth, royal priesthood, children of God and saying we must let our light shine for the whole world to see and give glory to Almighty God our maker.

Matthew 5:13-16:
Salt and Light
13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

In the parable of talents,He said we must not hide our talents but invest and use every talent He has given us to increase and multiply our blessings.

Anyone who does not appreciate your gifts and talents is not of God, but of the devil.
A true believer and Christian will appreciate your gifts and talents and do the best to make you shine for the benefit of the world and give all the glory to Almighty God.
That is why our Lord JESUS Christ said in Luke 11:33:
"No one lights a lamp and puts it in a cellar or under a basket. Instead, he sets it on a lampstand, so those who enter can see the light."

John 10:10 ►
"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

John 12:46 ►
"I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in Me should remain in darkness."
