All Good Gifts Come From Him

All good gifts come from Him

Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming
down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or
shifting shadow.

James 1:17 NASB

"So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will
find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks
receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be
opened.

If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a
stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of
a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children,
how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those
who ask Him!"

Luke 11:9-13 NKJV

This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that
God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say we have
fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not
practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the
light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his
Son cleanses us from all sin.

1 John 1:5-7 ESV

Read the Bible in One Year:

November 7: 2 Timothy 3, Jeremiah 9-10, Psalm 123

Today's Meditation:

Be Exalted, O God!

My heart is steadfast, O God,
my heart is steadfast;
I will sing and make music.

Awake, my soul!
Awake, harp and lyre!
I will awaken the dawn.

I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations;
I will sing of you among the peoples.

For great is your love, reaching to the heavens;
your faithfulness reaches to the skies.

Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let your glory be over all the earth.

Psalm 57:7-11 NIV

I got your name and url when I visited "Inspirations" By the Countess!

In these days, I feer that too many have lost sight of the fact that we are but stewards of what God has allowed us to have. We tend to hold on to THINGS that are corruptable, and discard the incorruptable!
WE tend to pay more attention to THINGS than to the MOST HIGH GOD from whome all things that are good; come! We have in effect allowed possessions, and thhe persute of money to take the place of GOD, therby making gods of our THINGS.
