Fear Not

Today's Scriptures:

Fear Not!

The waywardness of the simple will kill them,
and the complacency of fools will destroy them;
but whoever listens to me will live in safety
and be at ease, without fear of harm."

Proverbs 1:32,33 NIV

Today's Meditation:

Be Doers of the Word

This you know, my beloved brethren But everyone must be quick to hear,
slow to speak and slow to anger; for the anger of man does not achieve
the righteousness of God.

Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of
wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to
save your souls.

But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who
delude themselves.

For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man
who looks at his natural face in a mirror; for once he has looked at
himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of
person he was.

But one who looks intently at the perfect law, the law of liberty, and
abides by it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an effectual
doer, this man will be blessed in what he does.

James 1:19-25 NASB

This was yet another excellent selection of scripture!
Many are they who are content to listen only to Gods' word;but when it comes to putting that which we have read or heard from the Word of God,Many of us shy away from committing our selves to obeying His commandments!
It is written that narrow is the gate to eternal life, and wide is the path to destruction! Many people will be surprised when the end comes and they find out that they are not in the Lambs book of Life! They heard the word, yet they did not obey the word!

Thanks.

I loved your contribution in the forum of Blog Explosion.

I prefer the open forum where the people are not expecting to hear the truth that is the Word of God.
