In the old covenant the presence of God was in a stone temple. God was distant from the people. They had no intimate relationship with God.

That wasn't God's plan. He wants something much better.

So He sent Jesus Christ who opened the way for us to enter a NEW covenant, where God no longer dwells in a stone temple.

YOU ARE NOW THE TEMPLE OF GOD.

He dwells with you.

We are married with God.
