HALLELUJAH!

 HALLELUJAH!

Testimony time!

Blessing time.

The two songs I have promised to Almighty God to record and publish are " Your Majesty, God Almighty" in English and " Soso Nanighi Ka Ngefe" in Igbo, meaning, "You Are the Only One I Worship" which I have composed and have been singing during my early morning praise and worship. And they have been inspired by His Holy Spirit.

When you are in the fullness of the presence of Almighty God, nothing else matters in the world.

You are ready to be with Him forever.

For in His presence, He gives you the utterance of His Holy Spirit.

For in His presence, there is fullness of Joy forever.

When you know Him in Spirit and in Truth,

He speaks to you aloud and clear audibly for you to hear Him.

Until you experience the presence of God in the Holy Spirit, you don't have any relationship with God.

HALLELUJAH!

I will receive the support I have been waiting for to produce the two songs before Christmas!.

He will send me the divine helpers.

He has done it before and He will do it again.

"Your Majesty, God Almighty!" Is an amazing song of redemption and salvation with heavenly chorus.

My doxology of 42 pages composed decades ago is as awesome as Handel's Messiah.

What Pleases God?

What Pleases God?

◄ Matthew 5:8 ►

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

***"

If you are not pure in heart 💓

You can never see God

You can pretend to the whole world,

Cite and quote verses from Holy Bible

Flashing smiles from miles

Name dropping God on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and on WhatsApp.

But if you don't appreciate and celebrate fellow humans like you want others to appreciate and celebrate you, you don't have any relationship with God.

As He said: those who know God worship Him in Truth and in Spirit.

Not in CONCEIT

Not in DECEIT

Not in Lies

Not in Lip service and Eye Service.

You can fool the whole world, but you can't fool God.

God knows those who truly loves Him.

As He said:

If you love me; obey my commandments.

And He says if you say you love Him, but you hate your brother or sister, you are a Liar.

If you want to have a true relationship with God;

You must have a pure heart:

Without bitterness

Without envy

Without jealousy

Without Caprice

Without malice

Without prejudice

Without avarice

Without greediness

Without wickedness

Without worshipping idols

Without whoredom.

People look at faces.

But God looks at the hearts.

For what matters most to God is for you to have a pure heart.

And worship Him in Truth and in Spirit.

Let us pray.

The Church is not the Building, The Building is not the Church

The Church is not the Building, The Building is not the Church

Building the biggest,  largest or costliest auditorium for your church means nothing to Almighty God if His Holy Spirit is absent from your building.
As my mother of blessed memory, Mrs. Gladys Unuamaighiuwa Eke repeated again and again that THE HOLY SPIRIT of God does not dwell in the house built by hands; but dwells in the house built in the hearts of the true believers of God.

It is still baffling to me that those who claim to be ministers of God who have repeatedly read the command of our MESSIAH JESUS Christ clearly gave as our mission on earth which is the Great Commission as written in Matthew 28:19-20:
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.":
Yet they are engaged in childish and foolish bragging rights to who has built the largest church building or auditorium in the world!
They are competing for the Guinness Book of World Records instead of competing for the lost and wandering souls of the confused and ignorant humans our Lord JESUS Christ commanded us to find and guide to redemption and salvation.

I ask them, how much have you spent on evangelism in the mission fields compared to how much you have spent on building your gangantic auditoriums?
How much have you spent on charity compared to your gangantic auditoriums?

What determines the size of your church is not the size of the building, but the numbers of the true believers who fellowship and worship Almighty God in Spirit and in Truth.
John 4:24:
"God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."

John 8:32
"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

SHALOM!

When the Minaret Became Silent

When the Minaret Became Silent

I have not heard the adhan  أَذَان‎ call to prayer by the muezzin from the minaret at the mosque on my street since the #lockdown was declared by the federal government for the control and prevention of further spread of the #Coronavirus in Nigeria. Religious congregations have been banned and all gatherings of people in crowds must not be more than twenty and they must put on facemasks.
How can someone shout "HALLELUJAH" or "Allāhu akbar" when wearing a facemask?
Will Almighty God accept muzzled praises of "HALLELUJAH!", "Al-Ḥamdu lillāh!" or "Allāhu ʾakbar!"?

The voices of the muezzin and I were the first voices neighbours heard at dawn around 5.30am.
The sound of my "HALLELUJAH!" in my bedroom to begin my early morning prayers, praises and worship of our Almighty God JEHOVAH sometimes came first before the sound of the muezzin's Takbir, ʾAllāhu ʾakbar!
Many times, my closest neighbours complained about the loud sound of my baritone voice in praising Almighty God. But I always chose to make a joyful noise unto the Lord, because it a written
command to us to make a joyful noise unto the Lord (Psalm 66:1; 95:1–2; 100:1; 1 Chronicles 15:16) and in Psalm 149:5 -6:
"5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;" There is power in prayer.
Every faithful believer has that power written in Psalm 149:7-9.

HALLELUJAH!

I have always lived with mosques on my street since childhood; from Obalende on the Lagos Island to Shomolu, Mushin, Gbagada, Ikotun Egbe and Jibowu on the Lagos mainland. The voice of the muezzin from the minaret of the mosque in Jibowu was the loudest ever and he often woke up the entire neighbourhood from Lawani Street to Tani Olodo Street leading to the popular Jibowu Bus Stop, the motor park of several transport vehicles for interstate travels.
This is from my notes two weeks ago.

I am now missing the voice of the muezzin since I relocated from Jibowu to a nearby middle class neighbourhood in Yaba, where there is the St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church and without any mosque nearby.

What a Good Church Can Do for You, Part I

Monday, April 21, 2008

1. What a Good Church Can Do for You, Part I

"Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."1

Leon Norsworthy, a very successful family man and business leader, was promoted to the directorship of a national organization—a promotion which involved a move to another city for him and his family.

Before buying a new home in the general vicinity of his work and moving his family, however, Leon and his wife, Sally, did an interesting thing. They first looked for a good church, and when they found the one they felt would best meet their family needs, they then bought a house close to the church.

They did this because they have experienced the benefits of belonging to a good church and realize its importance for personal, family and spiritual life.

The Norsworthys aren't alone in their feelings about the church. In fact, 120 million or 61 percent of Americans belong to a church. What other volunteer organization can boast such a following?

True, every church has some weaknesses and some churches suit some people more than others, but for the church to survive for 2,000 years and continue to thrive as it has, there has to be many benefits to attract and hold its vast following. The following are some of the most important ones:

Improved family life. A Gallup poll showed that the number one personal need expressed by 82 percent of the American adult population was having a "good family life."

Many people besides the Norsworthys believe the church helps make for a good family life. In a special study, Edward A. Rauff, director of the Research and Information Center of the Lutheran Church Council in the U.S.A., found that the dominant reason a high percentage of the respondents gave for establishing a relationship with a church was "to keep the family together and to strengthen family life."2

That the church helps strengthen family life is supported by a study conducted by sociologist Steven Nock of the University of Virginia. His conclusions showed that couples who attend church regularly are 42 percent more likely to be married for the first time, and those in the church who were committed to its beliefs had a 23 percent better chance of having a "very happy" marriage than those who don't go to church.

To be Continued…

Suggested prayer: "Dear God, thank you that you designed the church, not only for your people to worship you together, but also to help meet many needs of the body of Christ—your Church. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully in Jesus name, amen."
