The Promise of JESUS Christ and The Great Commission

How many pastors, bishops, ministers and fellow "Christians" in all denominations preaching the Gospel of our Lord JESUS Christ in Pentecostal churches in Nigeria can leave their wives, children and homes for the Great Commission and become Eunuchs of the Kingdom of God?
How many of them can leave the comfort zones of their churches and go and preach on "Molue" and "Danfo" buses for 10 years and go and stay in villages and drink stream water and sleep on a strip of a plank of wood placed on stones in a puddle of rain water in the mission fields of the Great Commission?

Do you know that majority of the pastors and ministers are more concerned and worried about paying the school fees of their biological children than the welfare of the widows and orphans in the church?

How many of them can sacrifice the school fees and welfare of their biological children and spend hundreds of thousands of naira of their own savings to contribute to the education, protection and welfare of over 10 million underprivileged children out of school in Nigeria?

Many pastors and ministers are more concerned and worried about the comfort and welfare of their biological families than winning souls.
That is how they are totally different from the apostles of our Lord JESUS Christ who took up the cross and followed JESUS Christ for the Great Commission of the Gospel.

We must stop cherry picking, eye service and lip service to the Great Commission of our Lord JESUS Christ..
If you cannot sacrifice all your earthily possessions for the Great Commission, you are not ready to take up your cross and follow our Lord JESUS Christ as it is clearly written in Matthew 16:24:
"Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me."

Mark 10:29-30:
"29 So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife[e] or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, 30 who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life."

May the Holy Spirit help us to obey the command of our Lord, Saviour and Messiah, JESUS Christ.
