Who is God To You?

Are You Disappointed in God? 😢

God's dream is not to build churches and ministries around the world, that stand at the side of society.

He didn't come to our world to set up a religion, that is irrelevant to the real world.

Gods dream is to be in the centre of our society, in the center of our lives, every day, everywhere we go.

You were created for fellowship with God. Not in a religious way, once in a while, on Sunday. He created you to have ongoing, daily fellowship with Him.

He is the source of everything we truly need: true love, faithful friendship, inner peace, courage to keep going, joy when we struggle, faith to overcome challenges, and so much more.

God is the very core of our being, the essence of our life, the centre of our existence, the purpose why we breathe.

He is the source of LIFE.

I encourage you to let God out of the box of your religious mindsets and make Him the true centre of your life.

The Bible calls us believers the BRIDE of Christ. We are married with Him. This means we share everything with Him. Our joy, our pain, our passions, our struggles, our dreams, our time, our money.

When we are married with Christ He is the love of our life.

Many people only look at God when they are in pain.  When He doesn't fulfill their need right away, they do what many people in marriages do: they divorce Him.

We think of God as a solution for our problems. But that is not love. Love is being there for the other, no matter what. Especially when the going gets tough.

Do you love God for what you can get out of Him? Then you will betray Him one day.

Like so many people do in their marriages: the other doesn't fulfill their needs the way they want, so they betray them and divorce. They see marriage as the solution to their own needs. But marriage is more than that. It is a sharing of love with each other, no matter what. You are faithful to the other person in hard times, when you suffer.

Are you faithful to God even when He doesn't seem to answer your prayers?

Can you love Him FOR WHO HE IS? Like a true friend?

Or do you demand God to be your friend only, while you turn your back to Him the moment you don't understand certain things?

People, be faithful to God, especially when its hard and you don't understand things.

LOVE HIM WITH ALL YOUR HEART.

Some things are hard to understand. Why did Joseph in the bible had to be sold as a slave, thrown in jail while he was innocent and suffer for many years? He didn't understand! He was hopeless and desperate.

But he sticked to God. He remained faithful. He served God, even in jail. And he became a man of great influence in Egypt.

You may not see why there is suffering now. But be faithful. Love God, even in the darkness, even in the pain, even in the struggle. I would say: ESPECIALLY THEN!

Because when you do this, you will learn to love God for WHO HE IS and not for WHAT YOU GET FROM HIM.

Can you love Jesus for who He is? Even if He doesn't solve your issues right away? Just love Him as a person, not as a Santa Claus.

LOVE HIM and be His friend, forever.
